Fifty thousand jobs. Of everything the PromotionsOnly group has produced since 2003, roughly one job in four has been a bag, which makes Promotional Bags the busiest site in the group. More than 15 million bags have gone out the door, chosen from over 2,500 standard styles, all managed from Lane Cove, Sydney.

The range

The humble calico bag is our best seller, and organisations like the Australian Organics Recycling Association order it for exactly what it represents: reusable, natural, on message. Sports bags are the other perennial, the kind Ottobock Australia puts its name on. Between those two sit conference bags, the TAFE SA staple, backpacks and shopping bags, drawstrings, coolers, satchels and totes.

Custom made, not just custom printed

For larger orders we supply direct from the factory offshore, and at that level we can custom make almost any style of bag: your dimensions, your fabric, your pockets, zips and straps. One of our favourite examples is the run of natural enviro library backsacks made for the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Service, a bag that did not exist until they asked for it.

Branding that goes beyond the screen print

Standard branding is screen printing or full colour digital transfer, which covers most logos and budgets. When the design calls for more, we produce specialty finishes including puff print, which raises the artwork off the fabric, glow in the dark ink, and DTG printing for photographic detail straight onto the material. Local production runs a standard two weeks, and a number of styles carry 3 day and 24 hour options. Promotional resellers can access trade pricing through our reseller application.

Our story

PromotionsOnly launched from a home office in 2003 with a simple stance that was rare at the time: every price visible on the website from day one, no phoning around for quotes. The business moved to North Ryde, then to Lane Cove in 2005, and now runs its Sydney team alongside a company office in China. That office is what lets a bag site say yes to custom manufacture, because the sampling and production happen factory direct.

Giving as we go

Every month for more than 15 years, donations have gone from this business to WWF, Sea Shepherd, Médecins Sans Frontières, World Vision, where we sponsor two children, and Monika's Doggie Rescue in Sydney. The Humpty Dumpty Foundation has been supplied at our cost or free for over a decade. Registered charities receive a discount off the prices shown on this site, so mention your status when you enquire.

A branded bag is a walking billboard that someone else volunteers to carry, and in the age of reusable everything it gets carried more than ever. Fifteen million bags on shoulders, backs and arms around Australia suggests we are doing something right.
